Implement professional accounting and budgeting principles,

Budget review and approval process by the leadership team and/or board of directors,

Evaluate and manage software for expense management and accounts payable,

Implement the adoption of new budget management software,

Oversee bookkeeping and accounting,

Oversee day-to-day finances including invoicing and payments, and creation of AR and AP reports,
-
Procure, contract with and oversee PEO’s functions,
-
Work with CFO to operationalize departmental budget creation and review.

Work with auditors creating required reports, and reviewing needed processes,
-
Establish and implement internal processes and controls related to organizational financial controls,
-
Ensure financial compliance with all federal and state laws, statutes, and regulations,
-
Procure, contract and maintain needed insurance coverage.

Design and Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs),

Drive growth.

Work with HR and managers to implement internal and external processes and procedures that foster a healthy, functional, and vibrant company culture,

Review and procure employee benefits, inclusive of health insurance, retirement plans, HSA, FSA, commuter benefits, supplemental life and disability insurance, among others.
